What you can expect

Brassdeck is provided as it is. It is a small product, run by one person, and it can go down, lose a feature, or change. Nothing here is a guarantee of availability, and you should not put anything in it that you could not stand to lose. Backups exist and are not a promise.

What is yours

Everything you write stays yours. Using this app grants no rights over it beyond storing it, showing it back to you, and showing it to whoever you deliberately share it with. It is not used to train anything.

What is asked of you

• One account per person, with an address you actually control.
• Do not use it to store or send anything unlawful, and do not use it to harass anyone through a share link.
• Do not attempt to reach another workspace's data, and do not hammer the app in a way that degrades it for other people.
• You are responsible for who you hand a share link to.

Ending it

You can stop at any time and ask for your account and its contents to be deleted.

A workspace can be suspended for the things listed above. Suspension signs everybody in it out and stops them signing back in; it deletes nothing, and restoring puts it all back exactly as it was. If it happens you will be told why at the address on your account, and you can get your data out.

Changes

If these terms change in a way that matters, the change is announced by email to the address on your account before it takes effect.
